A: I hope yesterday’s dumpling ride exhausted my quota of bad-weather rides. Check back here for updates, but I’ll probably ride unless there’s ice.

The forecasters are now predicting that a storm will blow through on Saturday afternoon. I’m still planning to do this ride on Saturday morning, although I’ll probably just do a quick walk-through of the house after the opening ceremony and then head home before the worst of the rain/snow/sleet/wintry mix.

One additional note: the opening ceremony will be in a tent in the NPS parking lot, and temps will be at or near freezing on Saturday morning. Consider packing an extra jacket if you’re planning to attend.

The updated schedule of events is available at https://www.nps.gov/frdo/planyourvisit/bicentennial-birthday-weekend.htm. Mayor Bowser and Rep. Holmes Norton are now scheduled to speak, among others.

Ride tomorrow…Shirlington to ?? Cause Nice Weather! !

Arlingtonrider and I are going to meet up at HDCC at Best Buns in Shirlington and ride tomorrow. Probably out the WOD . I’ve not been out to Herndon. Might go that far. Who knows?

Come to Best Buns before 830 and we’ll go from there.
Coffee club riders start gathering there about 715 i think.
