Rice and Red Lentil Cakes

…even I can make the rice and red lentil cakes discussed in Feed Zone Portables, so thank you, Harry M. I’m serving a sheet of them to my dinner guests tonight. I’m using the Lundberg Family Farms sushi rice. I may try to use a small bag of Botan brand Calrose rice just to try it out. Mom’s Organic Market carries “Liquid Aminos” and rice syrup.

Costco caries a calrose-like rice (Kokuho Rose, maybe? — definitely has “Rose” in title) in 25lb bags. It works great for rice cakes, as does actual calrose rice.

I like the Food Zone Portables curry chicken cakes. In general, that I’d an awesome cookbook. I need t remember to add way more salt next time; Indo t to taste when cooking and then find it woefully undersalted when I eat them mid-ride.
