Thanks. I’ll check w/ the doc by then if he can lift the “no heavy exercise” ban that he has me under at the moment. There are other reasons I can’t ride now but that’s one of them.

No no no. You must play the game. Even if you don’t start riding until February, you will have great fun. And since you are an everyday rider, you could easily end up with 45 or more days riding plus your miles. You will be a good team member unquestionably.

Also, I don’t believe you played last year, so you are ineligible to be on the Bunch o’ Slackers anyway.

I didn’t even know how to ride a bike last year.

I didn’t say that I won’t play! I just have to be cleared by the doc. If I don’t follow his orders, then my non-participation is guaranteed. My next appt. w/ him is Jan. 5 – hopefully that will go well.

Sign up. As with FGG last year, if it turns out you can’t play, then we’ll sub someone in for you. Better to be signed up and ready to go than to miss out by trying to hedge the future.
