    Great timing. After yet another flat I’m trying to figure out what to do with a bag full of blown tubes.

    Conte’s used to have a big bin outside for that. I’m sure they still recycle. I think that is a Specialized Dealer schtick.

    It is summer time. You can always use them to make water balloon launchers. Get enough tubes and a few friends and you can launch a water balloon half a mile. Now THAT is something I want on my resume.

    I asked a Conte’s a couple of months ago when I no longer saw their bin outside. I was told they are no longer doing it because it wasn’t cost effective. Someone else should also ask just to make sure. I have been looking for other outlets in the area without success.

    Why does it seem like I’m always supplying negative information?

    What about Phoenix bikes? If the tubes aren’t that bad off they may be able to patch them and use them in their bikes…

    Yeah, if there is some life left in them, they have a big pile in their shop of various sized tires.
