    I think going west on Constitution is much to be preferred to going east. Folks going west are (in my imagination, at least) generally on their way home, and going in a straight line. Folks going east are looking for parking spots, awed into stupor by the Mall, etc. I’ll ride west on Constitution. If I’m going east, I’m on the Mall.

    Never underestimate the ability of westward drivers to do really stupid things. I do enjoy a good game of Frogger now and then. :D
