A photo isn’t art? I was just attempting to get the photo of the bridge and my bike into the same picture — there was no way to block out the text while doing so.

The lights above the entrance to a parking garage in Pike & Rose are made to look like a collection of wind instruments.

Nice shot with the people in it and your spokes playing on the heavy black lines the artist uses and tying the art into the cityscape. I stalked this one for days. The car leaves in the evening but shadows play havoc in the golden hour. Finally I settled for a mostly unobstructed view (except for my bike, haha) on an overcast afternoon.

I did say Quinn St and Wilson Blvd in the title but I know you want city and state. Sorry

I had been thinking about this one recently. I’d forgotten where it was and what it was but I knew there was something good up here in Kenilworth. Today there was a broken Watson at the Kenilworth Pool and I found the Aniekan I couldn’t quite remember. This is half of it and half of the Watson.

This is near a dirt road that used to appear on one of my apps as Railroad Ave. This art is hiding behind an abutment that’s supporting I-295. The gravel road crosses several active rail lines. As far as I know, this road no longer appears on any maps.

1st Massachusetts Cavalry Monument, located in a pullout on Snickersville Pike, northwest of Aldie. This was the first regimental monument erected (1861) by Union soldiers on a Southern battlefield. Yes, it is first and foremost a memorial, but the horsehead on the monument is simply gorgeous.

Yes, a photo can be art, but the #publicartfinder faceless cabal doesn’t consider all photographs to be “artsy,” and encourages you to try again;-)

On Lavista Rd, Tucker, GA. I was tempted to stop and donate blood for the Red Cross Blood Drive now that they allow us former UK residents to donate again, but not smart to deplete my blood supply with 15 more miles to go and I didn’t have my donor card with me.
