ParticipantThe advantage of the green zipper pulls was that they were very distinctive and hung nicely from saddles, not only zippers

ParticipantI’m all for the green…and hope it stays as the FS traditional color. I also like the zipper pulls…

The REAL advantage of the green zipper pulls is that people think they’re ski tags and ask you about skiing and you can say, “Well, actually, it’s a winter biking competition…”

ParticipantI enjoy buying the zipper tag identifier every year, then forgetting to attach it to anything. Call me a traditionalist.

ParticipantI just wanna say that in addition to all the posts I’ve made about this with ideas, I promise to buy and wear whatever you get us, Komorebi.
I really appreciate that you do this and I wanna support it – in addition to broadcasting my participation in FS. I wear the previous years’ stuff year round.
If you get something I particularly like I might get two… [emoji16] [emoji3590][emoji2186][emoji2187][emoji106][emoji106]

Participantankle bands make sense.
Other ideas:
1. little jingle bells (mount on bars or under saddle)…always jingling
2. Handlebar troll (those little rubber/plastic figurines w/wild hair)
3. Something on helmet (sticking up/out the back like a tassle)December 10, 2019 at 1:56 am #1101671komorebi
ParticipantThe zipper-pull fans narrowly edged out the ankle-band fans, so zipper pulls it is. Look for them coming to a happy hour near you in 2020.

Last Wednesday pm I was driving on I think Seminary road at 5:45 pm when a coupla bikes passed us in the bike lane and the 2nd one sported a shiny green Freezing Saddles zipper pull tag! Made my day! [emoji3590]
So clearly they are a great thing. I was blown away that my car headlights picked up that tag! It wouldn’t have picked up an ankle band because the bikes were already ahead of us. I have a FS tag on my saddlebag in that same place.
But it’s wearing out! And I don’t have one for the 2 new-to-me bikes I’ve acquired since a few years ago when you last did tags. So [emoji106] and thanks for doing it again! [emoji3]
