ParticipantOn today’s ride, my cargo was books. I went out to the library to return a book and pick up some new ones! Really excited to read Last Night at the Telegraph Club, I’ve heard great things about it.

ParticipantIs there a hashtag I should use in the strava title?

ParticipantSo, this one DOES NOT COUNT for this year’s FS2022, because i took the photo last summer, but I wanted to post it anyway since it is the largest thing I have carried on the trike so far. Someone was throwing out some tomato cages, and I happened by on the trike and snagged them. Thank goodness I carry bungee cords with me on my rides!

Hooray for libraries! I also frequently bike to the library to check out and return books. In fact, I just returned The Black Jersey to the Aurora Hills library in Arlington, if anyone wants to check it out before the DC Tri Club Book Club meeting that bikedavid mentioned.

No need for a hashtag — I’ll be judging submissions based on Forum posts in this thread. Looks like a great party!

Nice haul — in more than one sense!

Participant1/14/2021-While W&OD trail patrolling: trip to Carolina Brother’s barbeque and Wegmans. The carrots didn’t fit in the bag so on top they went. I’m glad I didn’t have to stop to for a mechanical because the carrots are useless.

Nice! One silver lining of the recent cold temperatures is not having to worry about keeping food refrigerated on the ride home.

ParticipantAfter going to the Market my bike carried 2kg of olives, 2kg of cucumbers, 2kg of tomatoes, 3kg of pink lady apples, 1kg of cherries, a bag of bread, a bunch of bananas, two liters of milk and a partridge in a pear tree! [emoji2957]

ParticipantIneligible because I forgot to go at least a mile (I rode more than a mile TODAY but not this particular ride) but I figured it would be appreciated here. My general contractor had someone “borrow” his 4′ ladder and we needed to cut a hole in the ceiling, so…

Also I always love the weird perspective of the cargo bike up on the kickstand.

Well done! I have so many questions, though. Where did the shopping cart come from? Why does it appear bigger than the normal shopping cart? Who pushed it onto the trail and then abandoned it? Did the cart pusher experience the Rapture and is that why she or he disappeared? Inquiring minds want to know …

Excellent work! I’m happy to see that the Mary Poppins bags live on.

That’s great! And I hope you finished with your ride before the wind started picking up.
