I should know. I will look into it. I think the newer Schwalbes are narrower than the older Kendas which I believe are 26 x 2. A lot of CaBis still have the Kendas. I think most are Schwalbe at this time.

Got it backwards. The Schwable Marathons qualify, 2.0. Kenda Kwest miss the cut at 1.95! Pick a newer bike and you’re set!

Well, I’m just going to call all my CaBi rides supple then. Too hard to figure out in the moment.

I think you’re right. The ERTRO numbers on the 1.95s are 622-50 which qualifies. :)

Good to know since I have some CaBi kms (miles/.6) in my future!

Oooh! I was going to ask about Capital Bikeshare, and since the consensus seems to be to call them 2″ tires whether they are the 1.95″ or the other ones, I’m going to tag all my #CABI rides as #FSrealsuppleride2 also!

Quick question – Bikeshare bikes have 2″ tires, don’t they?

I haven’t checked myself, but since Rod Smith (who works for CaBi) said they are 622×50, I’m allowing them to be counted as #FSrealsuppleride2.

BTW, let’s see some pics of those Real Supple Ride bikes on this thread (except for CaBis, I know what they look like)! :)

I love that bike and how you’re crushing the miles on it!

    Where’s this gravel road?

I’ve never been on one, but have considered going. What’s the pace like?

I’ve done the Saturday Velopigs ride several times, and they’re a really good crew. It leaves out of Plum Grove Cyclery at 10, but look up the V-Pigs Insta page to see the latest info about their rides.

That cater to those who come out…some times they will split the group if some wanna do the long ride and some the shorter route…they also leave out of two different places depending on the day…I believe it’s on their web page
