ParticipantTechnically, these are all in the same park, but I still took a picture of them all.

ParticipantNot quite the southern most park in the continental US. But perhaps the closest to Mexico?

ParticipantNot to worry, I didn’t tag this as a #FS2020ParkFinder segment, but thought I’d share here as I found it interesting. It’s also the smallest park I’ve come across so far at about 15’x15′!

Google Maps show this as “Clemyjontri Park” and
the word ‘park’ occurs twice on the sign.
So, I assume it counts.February 18, 2020 at 3:20 am #1104615AlanA
ParticipantI missed a letter. I hope I don’t get penalized.
And I’m really hoping for a prize for most miles per park. I just don’t feel like splitting my rides into different rides.

ParticipantI for one am getting tired of Google Maps adding the word “Park” to green spaces only to find that the sign is “Square,” “Playground,” “Recreations Area,” etc, or worse, no sign at all!

Yes. I was disappointed the word “park” was not at Google Maps “Sony Bono Park” in DC.February 18, 2020 at 9:54 pm #1104546AlanA
ParticipantSome say you can still hear the cries of the Mother and her three children that were murdered in this park on 11/23/07. I also rode by this park on that fateful day, and think about that day every time I go by it.

I found that Ride with GPS is quite reliable. I don’t use Google since I think they are evil.

ParticipantCastle Park in the medieval Center of Bristol were the ruins remain of various castles dating back over a 1000 years, the most recent a relic church that was bombed during WWII and never rebuilt. This is probably the most popular and used park in Bristol.
P.S. @consularrider I’m uploading using the “small” option, so don’t know why my pics are chewing up your gigabytes?

ParticipantPerrett Park is strategically located on high ground and offers perhaps the best panoramic view of greater Bristol, including the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge (the world’s first). This is the place to come to see the Guy Forth Night fireworks or the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (if the winds are blowing in the right direction!)

ParticipantCharles W. Hill Park, Del Ray, Alexandria
Named to honor the memory of Corporal Charles Hill, the last APD officer to be killed in the line of duty 30+ years ago in 1989. http://m.connectionnewspapers.com/news/2019/apr/01/remembering-alexandrias-charles-hill/
It also is home to lots of colorful birdhouses and must be very active in the Spring & Summer with feathered friends!Sent from Boomer_Cycles via my iPhone using Tapatalk
