Park #6 on 1/6. Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Like Central park, it’s hard to find a real park name sign.

Occoquan Regional Park, off of Route 123, houses The Turning Point Suffragists Memorial. The memorial is still under construction. https://suffragistmemorial.org/ The park also has the brick kiln where they made the bricks for the Lorton Prison, paved trails, restaurant (great place to get lunch or a beverage and sit outside to admire the waterfront before, during, or after a bike ride), picnic shelters and a marina.

Explored places I’d never known about today — and got to see the recently reopened Benjamin Banneker park in Falls Church near the Metro. It was FULL of kids having a glorious time. They’ve done a very nice job!

And Cora Kelley park was great — they know how to spell Kelley correctly!

A unique little park on Commonwealth Ave in Del Ray, has a small brick labyrinth to explore.

This park has a shortcut out the back that leads to a horse farm! Those horses are so beautiful and once I had one follow me down it’s fence line!
