Karen – thanks for reposting. I updated all those (gave you a couple more) and updated your new posts. I counted what looked like hand-painted boxes, but not the “commercial” looking ones w/images on them (Flag, birds, pineapple, etc.). You’re still way in front

I must ride in the wrong places. I am constantly on the lookout for mailboxes and don’t see much at all. Maybe I ride on roads with more snow, so owners don’t want to waste the effort on a cute mailbox that will get destroyed by the snow plow! I’ve seen my fair share of those, but I don’t think they count.

There might’ve been critters in there, but I took the photo quickly as it was at an intersection of rural one lane roads, with snow banks bigger than my bicycle, and I didn’t want to get run over by a pick up truck!
