Pointless prize: Expand your horizons (420)

Here’s a brand new pointless prize.

Now that cannabis dispensaries are everywhere, find one on your bike ride and take a picture of it. I’m thinking that getting your bike in the picture could be tricky, so that won’t be required. If you can manage it, go for it. I can only assume that someone who plays along isn’t cheating.

Only one location per day, per person. If you see two, go back another day. No posting the same location again, either.

Posting to this thread won’t be required, but it could make things a bit more fun. Use the hashtag #420 in your Strava ride and include your picture on your ride.

As usual with my prizes, I have no idea what the top prizes will be. lol, maybe a gummy bear?

p.s. All participants must be at least 21 years or older!

I’m glad there is a bit of interest. I would also like to point out that I’m not really a zonked out druggie, but I do enjoy amusing banter on Strava and on here. I’m interested in the ever changing laws here in the US relating to this. The Washington Post just recently had a main page story about the industry:

3/4/23 – I found one in Vienna

In VA these places are like dancing bears – it’s so new & exciting that they’re here at all that I don’t expect much on the way of artistry or creativity….. I don’t notice the lack till I see the CO posts – they’re so far ahead of us.

Alan – thanks for the great game that definitely influenced which direction I rode most days.

I compiled my dispensary photos into a Google Album if anyone wants to see them.
Most are boring and no-frills, but every now I then I would strike gold and find a cool building (usually meaning decorated in a mural) or a punny name.

I thought yesterday (Wed, 3/15) was going to be my last day out, so I planned to finish the quest with “The Chronic Factory,” but I made it out Thur….and we’ll see about another bonus Friday.

You really do live in the mile ‘high’ state! Maybe next year we will all be on even playing ground.

This will be my final find of the game. I don’t usually ride my bike around here (Rt. 28 and Rt. 97), but I did today.

This one is fairly new, but I saw they have locations in multiple states in the region.
