AZ now has recreational use also. This was the first one I’ve seen though. Nothing like what I saw in NM.

Question (not for tonight, but in general): In DC, possession of recreational cannabis is legal, but selling it is not. So the cannabis shops often claim that they aren’t selling cannabis; they merely sell you a Kleenex for $35, and give you a a free bag of gummies with your purchase. (Okay, it’s not typically actually Kleenex, but you get the idea.) As a result, the stores typically don’t have a sign indicating their actual products. A few have signs indicating that they are selling that Kleenex. Many don’t have signage at all.

In such cases, can the stores be used? I’d be happy to put the name and address of the store into my Strava ride. You could verify on Google maps that the store exists at that address (and Google, being unburdened by those legal considerations, will say that it’s a dispensary). Its website would indicate what “free gifts” it provides. However, the signage would be either nonexistent or uninformative.

On to tonight: Havana Smoke Shop in Tenleytown.

finally a sign/dispensary worth sharing here. Generally, the stores/signs are all low budget (even sketchy sometimes :).

Here’s one with an appropriate name and looks like a legit store (in Denver):

That sounds like too much work looking up stuff online for me. Maybe there would be a sign indicating that it is a gifting compliant store?
I am aware of the gifting, which is why I was making the comments about the overpriced t-shirts earlier.

I wasn’t expecting to find these in OK! Especially in the middle of nowhere.

Definitely the coolest looking/location dispensary (Not claiming this one yet on Strava; I’ll go back another day, but wanted to share, since it’s not your typical dump.
