January 3 – Sign (county line). In the interest of not disadvantaging the already disenfranchised, I’ll accept DC line signs as “county line” signs. However, these must be signs at the boundary, not signs directing you to the boundary.

@JAEP2R, you can get credit for Shop (ice cream) if you do the things below.  However, Fence (iron) is not on your card.  You can only get credit for things on your card.

Also, I know it’s early yet and people are still getting used to the rules.  (A lot of people know them from last year, but I know you’re not in that situation.)  However, a few reminders:

You need to do three more things to get credit for Shop (ice cream) or any future entries:

1. Tag your ride with #Bingo.
2. Upload your photo to your ride.
3. Mark the space on your card that contains the item you found.

Once you  do that for Shop (ice cream), I’ll give you credit on the spreadsheet.

And for future reference, you can only find one item each day.  So for example if you’d had both Shop (ice cream) and Fence (iron) on your card, you could have done Shop (ice cream) on January 1 and Fence (iron) on January 2.  Or Fence (iron) on January 2 and Shop (ice cream) on January 3.  (Any item can be found on a day after it’s called, just not on a day before.)  But you can’t do both on January 2.

Just popping in to say I’m doing as well as I did last year — 0 for 3 on my card!

However, considering the closest County line here is 21 miles away over a mountain (it also happens to be a state line and an international border), I’m just as happy to not have County Line sign on my card today. 🙂

Thanks Carol for doing this – it’s fun to think about how I *would* show those if I had them on my card.

@JAEP2R, I know this is confusing, but to tag a ride, you need to put #Bingo in the title, not the description. See for example @bikesnick’s ride found at https://www.strava.com/activities/13256453938.

The good news is, you don’t need to put #BFSA (it would actually be #BAFS) in there anywhere. Rides are automatically logged for purposes of mileage/points; they only need to be tagged for purposes of a particular Pointless Prize.
