Catching up on some plates. I’ve stopped collecting state variants, since Catedrew has been killing it, but I still get pictures of new places

STILL haven’t been able to find those last two elusive states (Idaho and Mississippi), but took a recent trip to Oklahoma and found lots of Oklahoma variants, PLUS a lot of Native American tribal plates. I’ll post several batches.

Scoring updated through now (Post #281 before this post) with a couple days left in Freezing Saddles.

Bikedavid found 51 states/DC first & Catedrew is crushing the total w/variants (>300).

Catedrew inspired me to start collecting CO variants recently. Link to my Google album if you want to see what I’ve found (CO has a lot; thankfullly not as many as VA

Check back soon after the end this weekend to see prize annoucement & some fun facts/stats around what everyone found throughout the hunt.

Funny but i went by this car and as i passed, my brain said, keep going..you have that one–Michigan. But after I pased, my brain registered , no that was Mississippi, turn around! The car belongs to a nurse.

Two left: north and South Dakota. Running out of ideas after UHaul and rental car lot.

These were all spotted on a recent work trip to Oklahoma, in a small town called Anadarko, which bills itself as the Indian capital of America.
