Finally catching up after a couple weeks (sorry, life got in the way). Scoring done up to this post.
Congrats to DCAKen for finding the elusive HI and becoming the 2nd person to get all 50 States + DC!!!!

Catedrew is still crushing it in the variant count, but there is lots of time remaining in Freezing Saddles.

For the most part, all posts & pictures are clear enough for me to figure out and give credit. On a handful of times in total, I haven’t been able to figure out from the pic and/or accompanying text what plate is being claimed (usually too small of a photo). Sorry.

I’ve not been playing this game, but I told Boomer I’d get him this one. When I lived here in high school these were the most feared drivers on the road. The border was wide open so if they were involved in a crash, they easily escaped consequences. And despite the law requiring insurance on all cars, there was no way to enforce it back then so American drivers were at real risk. The laws have tightened since then (as has the border) and they’re much better drivers. Certainly better than many I have interacted with in the DMV!
