Please support WABA during this time

The Corona virus shutdowns are serious stuff and we should be doing all we can to support our local governments in their efforts to keep us, and our communities, safe.

When we come out of this, we will want the organizations we rely on to reopen. It is incumbent on all of us to help make that happen. We all rely on the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) to do the heavy lifting of advocacy to keep our communities focused on improving cycling in the area.

WABA events are one of their tools to raise money to continue that advocacy. With the shutdowns, many events have, or will be, cancelled; squeezing WABA.

We can help by supporting WABA with money. Please go to WABA.ORG and make a donation now. Donate what you can so we can keep WABA working for everybody.

I’m writing this because I see real value in WABA and hope you do as well.
