I’d recommend an afternoon nap, but that didn’t really work out for me last time I tried it before a Happy Hour, so… COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE!!! (or, if you’re me who hates coffee but enjoys the smell, SODA, SODA, SODA!!!)

Sadly I’m going to bail this afternoon. We have just too many things to get straight prior to our family bike trip from FFX to the C&O canal tomorrow morning.

See you later in the season.

Pretty sure I’m in for this as long as the thunderstorms hold off – looking forward to it!

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight! The weather is looking good. I’ve reserved tables for 20 starting at 4:30 (most of us will get there later than that), but we might be able to expand if more people show up. It’s still helpful to rsvp if you haven’t yet.

Just fyi for those who usually enter Shirlington Village from the west – if you see police cars blocking off the west side of Shirlington Village (from the library plaza area to Hardwood Artisans), it’s because of a music festival going on from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Tonight’s performers are a Jimmy Buffett cover band. You can still get through that area by bike, but just not quite as easily. It’s partly a fundraiser for the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), but totally free if you’d like to listen to the music from outside the cordoned-off wine tasting area. The east part of Shirlington Village, where Cap City Brewing Company is, is unaffected.

Carolyn should be there around 5:00, and I should be there by 5:15… That’s if my jerk boss will let me split early :-)

I’ll be there, I expect I’ll arrive somewhere around 5:30 unless I get distracted and wander off the direct route. ;)
