All are invited to join us for happy hour this Thursday at one of our favorite and most trail-accessible places – Capitol City Brewing Company in Shirlington.

Cap City is welcoming us back with reserved tables on their patio and their usual good food, beers and service. Our reservation starts at 4:30 pm for the early arrivals, although most of us will probably arrive after that. As usual, Cap City is offering half-price appetizers until 7 p.m. and their four popular core brews at $2 a pint. Bike parking is plentiful and car parking is free after 5:00 pm. For one reason or another, I’ve had to miss every single happy hour this spring and summer and have especially missed seeing everyone, so please come if you can. Lurkers and new forum participants are also invited to come meet and become part of the group. This is a great chance to ask bike questions, learn about different rides and routes and make new friends.

It’s very helpful if you can let me know ahead of time if you plan to come. Hope to see you soon!
