Place to live?

Hi all. Just joined this forum to ask about where I should look to buy a place.

I work in dc near metro center and I want to bike commute to work. I also want to have access to a good route/trail for road biking. My price range is under $300k.

I know $300k is a bit low… So I guess I wouldn’t mind living further out and driving or taking metro to work. My main priority is being near a road biking route!

As dcv mentions this shouldn’t be too bad from a commuting perspective. AND the CCT is out there too — so you have some good on- and off-road options.

Other than the distance, thats not actually a bad location. Getting from Vienna Metro to the W&OD is not bad, and then the W&OD can get you downtown quite easily. And you have the option of the metro as well.

I used to commute straight past the vienna metro on the north side of 66 (versus the south side of 66) past Vienna and into Merrifield, it wasnt bad at all. If your on the south side it may be a bit more work.
