My ride wasn’t “69” miles but there is a “69” in my stats.

Nice to see Pete still has a sense of humor.

Yesterday I tagged Pete’s memorial with a Forum VIP (Very Important Poster) tag. He posted 4,472 times over the past 10 years. Ride in Peace.

Learned a little after the fact that Pete was a *big* advocate of https://www.roadid.com/?referrer=22748. Better late than never. I now have one (color matched to a humble Timex).

    Thank you, sir! #wsgfabr! <3

Hello all. Just returned to DC, took a look on the forums and found this horrible news. My condolences to Pete’s family.

Where on the trail is this location? Where it says “you are here”?

Yes, ironically, the arrow on the trail map “you are here” pretty much marks the spot. Peace [emoji3522]

Who are, in a sense, all of us. Thank you.

@smb9600 and I stopped by earlier this week to visit with @Dirt after Monday Morning Pancake [emoji1642] Club (of which he was a founding member #MMPC). The tree is now gone, and the fence repaired, leaving little evidence of what occurred there other than a small remnant of the impromptu shrine. #RIPDirt #WSGFABR

I say hi every time I bike by that spot. “Hi Pete!” And I can totally hear him say “Hey lady!”

We keep our loved ones alive in our memories and his memory makes me smile.
