A co-worker was walking down the Custis Trail near the Intersection of Doom last week. This happened:
“I have a gripe/question about the biking community in DC. This morning when I was walking from key bridge Marriott into work I passed a man giving out free high fives near the counting station that counts the bikes. He had a sign and everything. He was smiling at and offering high fives to all the bikers but nothing for a walker! I could have used a high five this morning!
does the biking community discriminate against walkers?!?!”
From my perspective the high fives were free and you get what you pay for.
