Ok, good to know. Probably in the market for new pedals soon and I’d like something double-sided. Being able to ride in regular shoes in a pinch is a bonus.

Yep, about 5500 miles on these.

Curious if you are you going to try to warranty them? Change to a different pedal system?

    Yep. Ditto.

I didn’t think about a warranty attempt. I’ll have to look into that, but I got them from the Clymb.

Since I have several more pairs of Crank Bros pedals and cleats, all newer than these, I’ll probably stick with them for now but think about upgrading in the future.

I’ve read before that their customer service is pretty decent, though I’ve never had to use them myself.

I’m still hoping I can stay incident free on Crank Bros. for the foreseeable future; they’re on all my bikes. But I’m wondering if I should consider retiring my highest mileage set.

Me too. Three bikes, three pairs of pedals, one pair of shoes. Makes life simpler and I’ve always had good luck with ATAC’s.

I should add that I run flats on my bikes that see a lot of airtime (DH and DJ bikes). You do this sort of thing and you learn its sometimes good to be able to get the hell off the bike quickly. :)

Took the pedal apart this morning. It looks like the outboard bearing broke apart. The inner half and some of the small balls were still in the pedal. The outer half, the rest of the balls, and the inboard bushing are still on the WOD.
