Thanks for the heads up–I’ll pass this along to my contacts in Transportation Engineering and Operations who I believe do the timing for that intersection.

    They’re on it!

One last thing–which corner of the intersection was out?

It’s the corner you’d reach first if you’d just pedaled up from the Roosevelt Island parking lot. In other words, you’re looking across Lynn towards Arlington, with the I-66 off-ramp to your left.

This thing seems to be out all the time when I ride through, I don’t know why. It was out yesterday. The red pedestrian man lights up fine, but then when the lights turn green (for traffic), the red man goes out and the green man doesn’t light up either. It’s just all unlit. :(

It has been intermittent for a month or more. I’d say it is working half the time these days. Adds a little extra thrill to the Rosslyn Death Zone.

They were still out on 11-25 coming up from Roosevelt Island.

Yep. I rode through there yesterday. Red is working. White (green?) walk/ride was out.

Yeah I’d say it’s out more often than it’s working. It was out today and yesterday when I came through.

I just passed two gentleman with Arlington County reflective vests on my way home who had the control panel open and said they were working on fixing the light. I told them it had been an intermittent problem for at least a few months.

Glad to hear that. It had been reported when the thread was first opened, but we passed it along again on 11/29 when the thread popped up again.
