    NVRPA is on it.

    Thanks Chris, we will take a look. Based on the photo and description sounds like it could be a collapsed culvert (or a collapsing culvert).

    This is interesting, I had included it in my comments on the Arlington Fixes thread. Earlier this year there was a traffic cone on the stream side of the trail at that point which was later replaced with the reflective pole that can be seen in the photo, but those may have been move of a warning about the drain depression. I think all the recent rain has been causing the more rapid deteriorization of the pavement.

    A few weeks ago there were huge piles of water on both sides of the trail there — drainage wasn’t working correctly.
