Dr. Thomas Kline in Reston (sorry but part of Commonwealth Orthopedic). I realize that he is further that what you asked but he is as good as they get. He is a mountain biker and understands our needs.

Additionally, I would NOT take that much ibuprofen for that period of time….can hurt the kidneys.

    Good luck.

Since you haven’t gotten many responses, I’ll also recommend my Commonwealth-based ortho – Dr. Anthony Avery. Young guy, did my clavicle repair. Has knee specialty. Very straightforward, but good natured.

Also part of Commonwealth, but fantastic:

My wife had ACL/meniscus problems and he performed the surgery. He was excellent.

Thanks for the recommendations. It seems like Commonwealth has pretty much cornered the market. I have to go out of town for the holidays anyway, so I won’t be able to get an MRI until I get back. I think I will ask for a different doctor next time, however.
