One thing that I like about them is that they’re truly made in a mom and pop shop. It is a really nice couple who sew them at night when they get home from work. Unfortunately, it can lead to some long lead time.
I like that, too. They also do not make them year-round. Orders palced during the summer are held and filled first in, first out.

Too bad they don’t work on them in the summer. A good time to get ahead.

ParticipantI saw on their web site that they now make a high-vis version. They’re super cool.

ParticipantMy impression is they’re too busy cycling in the summer – moose-mitt making is their “it’s too cold to bike” activity.

ParticipantI had a Moose Mitts sighting in downtown Herndon this AM. Someone with the drop bar variety going Eastbound.

ParticipantThe Bike Lane in Reston has Bar Mitts half off right now. Stock up, next winter we might actually have winter weather!

ParticipantThanks for helping us keep the Moose Mitt alive. We have been support lucky having customers like all of you who appreciate our efforts. This said we are expanding a little to make production faster. We added a second machine and we hired more staff to run the bike shops…freeing myself and Abby up for more sewing.
We are also playing with some new versions…SuperHiVis was added last year and we are going to offer that in a few different shades this winter. I have Hunters Orange done now and a few of our limited Hot Pink. New pics will be online later this week too. I have a prototype pair made as well with an added exterior pocket for carrying more stuff. But it is still under testing stages.
And we still make the standard black with (1) reflective strip too.
Again just wanted to say thanks for the support, field testing, and continued support.

ParticipantJust ordered a set. I’ve been coveting Dirts for a while, and my winter commuting gloves are on their last legs.
