One (actually four) in the same. The cones in question are the four that are on East Basin Drive opposite the CaBi station at the Jefferson. In discussions with the NPS, we had agreed that they would be moved back to the edge of the crosswalk closest to the Jefferson. I pinged the NPS and USPP today and have seen message traffic that would suggest they will be resolving the cone issue fairly quickly.

This morning the cones were on the crosswalk (across that former driveway) furthest from the memorial in the way of cyclists.

While I don’t see much value in the cones at all, putting them somewhere that does not affect cycling is tolerable. The back edge of the crosswalk is such a location.

Yeah, two different locations. The spot I am talking about is further east, the eastern part of the Jefferson driveway (now blocked by jersey barriers). I think they heard you there about removal of the cones – which has resulted in the arrival of spring tourons parking their cars in the path of cyclists.

Every day for the past two weeks, I tell myself that I will head up the hill and over the Case Bridge, and come around to get on 14th St Bridge. But then, along Water St, I keep going straight for some reason, make my left onto the Ohio Sidewalk, and immediately regret it. I don’t understand myself….
