restripe the pavement markings on Wilson Boulevard from North Frederick to North Manchester Streets.

Any reason they are stopping 1000′ short of George Mason and a connection to the Bluemont Junction trail? Seems like a logical connection to me.

There is a raised center median between Frederick and George Mason. This is just a repave and restripe job.

If the demo project is well received, a full project is supposed to follow that would in all honesty, likely remove the bike lanes and replace them with wider sidewalks which is what the neighborhood really wants. The bike lanes as a buffer from traffic is the “better than nothing” that they’re taking in the interim.
