ParticipantHere’s the funny thing… it’s looking like there is a non-zero chance I’d be in the area around that time! The temptation is great but the logistics are daunting…

ParticipantSomewhat related, but my wife’s aunt (who has a vacation home in Maine) relayed to me that there is some type of “ride across Maine” as well now…sounded like a multi-day event.
Must be this?

Participantohh and it ends in Montague which is actually a really nice town. I’ve stayed in that area before when I’ve done beach vacations on Lake Michigan. Maybe next year I will try this and see if I can link it with a Lake Michigan vacation. Kinda want to buy this year’s jersey anyways but don’t want to be a total poseur and wear a jersey for a ride I didn’t do…

ParticipantI think this is probably a good year for a group ODRAM trip.

ParticipantThere’s several states with rides across them. I really like the idea of doing it in one day. Illinois has one call RAIL. I’m actually in Georgia right now for BRAG.

You didn’t have to go all the way there for that.

From what I’ve seen so far, Georgia has nothing to brag about except for all of the signs about northern oppression.
And also that there used to be a mule stable behind a building.

Anybody can ride a bike across a state. What I’m actually bragging about is that I had a craft beer for $1.25 today.

What about the 100/200 north to south across Vermont? http://100-200.org/

ParticipantI looked at the 100/200. Not sure if I can make it work this year since it’s a loosely constructed event and there’s lots of logistics I’d have to sort out.

ParticipantI was interested in the 100/200, but the logistics are a little too daunting to do on my own. Plus (And most importantly) there doesn’t appear to be a jersey

So who wants to drop Dave and me off at the border and pick us up at the end of the ride and make us jerseys?
