ParticipantA huge thank you to:
1. All of the BAFS riders that made this winter (dare I say it) so much fun!
2. The organizers of the BAFS-ing who kept things running smoothly (Hozn, Steve O and the countless others); and
3. Those who made the final HH such a success, from the fantastic plates to the super prizes.
I cannot wait until next year. And all of you, stay away from Hains Point!

ParticipantThanks to everyone for being so good to my boys last night. Nothing engenders a love of cycling in 12 year-olds like biking to a gathering with free (to them) food, unlimited root beer and a room full of happy people. And condom medals. Definitely condom medals.
Seriously – thank you!

ParticipantFor those of you who missed or may have had trouble hearing, here are the winners of this year’s creative ride titles Pointless Prize.
I must say that it was both a joy and real task to select; there were literally scores of deserving titles, ranging from funny to satirical to profound to poetic to literary and on and on. I’ll add another post of honorable mentions later. Each winner received a gorgeous, ready-to-be-framed memorial certificate along with a related Pointless Prize of immense value.

This party crasher had to leave early but had a fun time reveling in BAFSers’ craziness. When leaving, I was impressed with the gaggle of fantastical bicycles locked up outside Cap City (and some folded up and taken inside).
It was nice sitting with you – thanks for coming and laughing at us. Hope you’ll be one of us next year.
