No flooding that I saw on the Prince George’s trails. Lots of wet leaves on the trail though.

This morning, I saw Montgomery County crews sucking up all the wet leaves on the CCT. It was awesome.

This is a day old, but on Thursday about 10:30 AM I encountered a female cyclist who had gone down on the Trollheim bridge at the usual spot. She was shaken up and lying on her back on the boardwalk. Ultimately she got herself up and determined she was all right.

Don’t know about trails, but the Shaw area of DC is a parking lot. No obvious cause. I guess it’s just Friday.

    Beautiful out there, at least.

On the new portion of the Arlington Boulevard Trail on the Fort Myer side (eastbound US-50) just north of Pershing Drive around here: http://goo.gl/maps/6bJJy there are a couple of piles of debris in the southbound (going uphill towards Pershing Drive) lane. They are easy to avoid when climbing, but if you are going downhill be mindful in case you need to move into the other lane.

The electronic speed sign has reappeared on the CCT. I doubt this was the intent, but I keep trying to beat my previous day’s speed as I pass.

Conditions on the CCT this morning were wet and empty…and pretty.

NE Branch trail now repaved under the rail bridges. Looks like the bridge construction is just about complete.

The Fairfax County Parkway trail was recently repaved from the W&OD to at least Sunrise Valley. It may extend beyond that, but that’s the only part I ride on my commute.
