    That looks like a revolting place to ride a bike. Cool trailer, though.

    While I am sure there are some great places to ride in the Orlando area, I didn’t see any. The roads were less inviting of cyclists than those we enjoy around here.

    The only riding I got was one minute on a bike (that shifted badly and I was in street clothes) tied to a generator. We were attempting to get on the leaderboard for energy generation at a booth pushing energy efficiency (GE I believe). This was the guy after me.

    He finished the minute sprint with about 4.3 watt hours of generation. Despite my size, I do a poor imitation of a draft animal.

    It is. There are a couple of nice MUTs but riding on the street in Florida is awful. Orlando is the deadliest city in the country for bikes and peds, Tampa (where I’m most recently from) is second. There’s some nice riding outside of the cities but you really need to be in a large group to get any respect from drivers.
