I spent most of the day out on the bike today. The rain gear made it comfy. It might be a bit slippery later this evening.

Only the hard-core commuters will be biking today and tomorrow.

Custis/ WOD and roads were fine between 4:00 and 5:30. Very wet, but no ice. No standing water issues yet.

I went for a ride with the boyfriend earlier. It was cold and wet and kind of fun. (No wind, so yay!) His coworker told him he was pretty hard-core to be out riding in this weather. My coworker told me he is going to have me committed to a padded room somewhere.

All the low water Four Mile Run crossings except under Carling Springs Rd were flooded at 5:30 pm. I expect it will be worse in the morning.

That was refreshing, I think I do it again tomorrow. Does anyone think we’ll need the studded tires for the Wednesday homeward commute? And what’s “conversational” snow anyway?
