OMG. I am now a senior. Let me sit in the corner and sob for a moment.

But. They have an event in Wii Bowling! Fun! Except it is scheduled when I have to be at work. If I’m senior, why do I still have to work?!

Registration is open. And they remind us that there is NO registration on day of the event.

“The registration season for the 2013 Northern Virginia Senior Olympics is now open. You can register on line by going to nvso.us. Click “home page” and “registration”. Then register on line. If you want you can “download the form” and send it in by mail. If we have your address you will be receiving a form in the mail. We really hope you will try the on line registration. New events this year are handball and a 2k rowing time trial. For you golfers, you can use the practice range for free starting at 8AM. The full schedule of all events is also at nvso.us. Opening day is September 7 at the TJ Community Center in Arlington. If you do not plan on participating we could really use your help as a volunteer. Let us know if you can help with the timing of the walking and running events on September 7. If we can answer any questions we can be reached a t nvso1982@gmail.com. HOPE TO SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER.”
