ParticipantAwww MAN! That sounds like a blast, but I’m going to be in Frederick that night for the century ride the next day. 😡 Damn! Any other weekend but that one…

Not to fret. If this one is successful, we’ll do it again.

ParticipantI was going to ask what the pace will be (been going on beginner level group rides at about 10 mph avg. speed), but turns out if I have an obligation that night too.

ParticipantI really like that route. Safer areas and easy to bail from if someone needs to leave before the end.

Reminds me of the last night of summer before school started again, hanging out in the neighborhood on our bikes as late as we could.

This is a social ride, so pace will be easy. We will likely stop at monuments or elsewhere to get photos, etc. Riders of all abilities are totally welcome. If we break a sweat we are working too hard.

Ok, that sounds like fun. If I didn’t have to drive out of town to pick up my cousin, I’d do this ride.
Hope to make the next one!

ParticipantYeah! If there’s another before it gets frosty, count me in! This time of year into the fall it can be so pleasant to ride at night. If I’m in a group no one can give me grief about it. 😮

ParticipantIf I virtually join you, it will be just after sunrise in Kyiv (for the win!).

ParticipantIf you don’t mind a new guy following along, sounds like a good time.

ParticipantI will try to make it. It’s been a long and tiring week, but somehow I will find the strength to do this along with the Port City Pedals ‘n’ Pints later Saturday morning.

ParticipantAre blinky be-seen lights enough? I forgot to charge up my headlight and now that I’ve plugged it in, I’m not even getting a charging indicator. D’oh. (Driving into city)
