    I have been participating in this game since 2014. Never has it been such a struggle to maintain perfect attendance in the first week. So don’t get discouraged and think you can’t possibly maintain this pace until March 19–this really has been much worse than your average week of Freezing Saddles.

    I think yesterday at least tied the record for consecutive days Dulles was below freezing.

    Yeah, but give them time. The person who hasn’t been riding much before now, and made it through the last week, is well on the way to HTFU.

    Yeah, this has been a really rough start to the year for people trying to be outside.

    The rest of the competition will definitely be all sunshine and puppies, though.

    Having been a northerner (Ohio), I can assure you that we’ve got issues (black ice) that they don’t typically deal with. I’d much rather deal with cold and snow than with that.
