    Hi,

I found a 60s? 70s? Huffy in the basement of my house. It is extremely dusty and needs some new parts but I’d love to get it running again so I can start biking to work.

It needs new brakes, tires, tubes, grips and the cabling for the brakes and shifter needs to be replaced.

The rear hub says Sturmey Archer. I was told it’s an internal 3-speed.

If I were to buy all these parts online, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have them installed so the bike is working again?

Any tips or considerations would be helpful.

    Thank you!

Depending on the names of what you buy I would guess a few hundred with parts and labor. My LBS charged 135 for a complete bike build (bought an online bike). Hope that helps. I frequent pricepoint.com for deals on parts and accessories.
