    Hi everyone,
I am new to Washington and also new to the road bikes. Coming from MI, I always had MTB and I love them but… I started riding to work and doing so on a MTB in the city is no fun. I’ve been checking out the local ads and found a bike that has my interest but not really sure if it’s worth the money. He is asking $550 for it. So i need your help fellow bikers.
Here is what the seller says about the bike:

    Bianchi Veloce, made in Italy.

    -Campagnolo Veloce 9 speed drivetrain
    -3T Stem & bars
    -Selle Italia Flite saddle
-Mavic CXP33 rear wheel w/ Campy hub
-FIR (Italy) front wheel with Campy hub

The bike was just serviced with new shift/brake cables, chain, cassette, and Fizik bar-tape. Frame is made of Dedacciai steel, 63cm seat tube, 34″ standover. Great for some 6’2″+.

If you are willing to consider a hybrid, Bike and Roll sells off some of their inventory every fall. Last year, the sale began in late October.

Are you saying that a bike tour/rental place sells off their inventory? How do you find about the sale?

Here is the announcement for last year’s sale

    Seems to occur every fall

FYI – I am in no way associated with the rental company

Thanks for the tip! My brother is looking for bikes for himself and his wife, so it looks promising.
