ParticipantI’m holding out for the “spend yourself into oblivion on bike sh*t you don’t need” challenge. KOM baby!

ParticipantI have challenge fatigue. I do like the Skratch Labs mixes, though. Laurie talked with Allen Lim at Interbike today.

yeah, the skratch labs is a lot easier on my stomach. I was using Heed hammer stuff, but that caused…… distress. The skratch labs doesn’t cause it so much, only if I drink too many bottles of it, so I just keep it to 1 bottle of that and then regular water.

ParticipantWell, challenge fatigue or no challenge fatigue, 25 percent off is 25 percent off, so I’m in after all!

ParticipantI thought doing this weekend’s Back Roads Century would help me complete this challenge, but then I realized I need to do the Century four days in a row, and then ride to the super far Starbucks. I’m in it for the humility factor.

ParticipantFor those with longer commutes, this won’t need much extra effort. It’s only 32.5mi/day over 14 days.

ParticipantMy problem is that I am traveling for the second week. The good thing is that I should be 3/4 of the way to the goal before I have to get on the plane. Trying to obtain a bike for early morning rides in Santo Domingo.

Totally mis-read this challenge. I thought it was 400 in four days!!! 14 days is much more manageable, i actually have a chance to complete this one!

ParticipantMy commute should get me about 40% there, so it might push me to ride a little farther on the weekends.

Yeah, they challenge you to do it in as few rides as possible, but you are given 14 days to actually complete it.

ParticipantHow does one define a ride?
Isn’t this what the pause button is for?

However you like. I guess you could just hit pause and ride the whole 400+ in one ride.

I actually signed up for this one, and think I can make decent progress. Probably not the whole “455 miles in 4 days”, but it’s open for 2 weeks so I’ll give that a shot. Especially since the 50 states ride is on day 1 of the challenge
Four days! Haha, you crazy.

Can you finish the ride in four days?

ParticipantI can’t believe I joined Strava. Will everyone be able to see how slow I am?
