ParticipantI just visited both Vienna and East Falls Church Metro stations. Vienna metro looks the same as in the previous photo. There is another poster at Vienna metro that says it would take 1.5 years for the parking lot to complete from November 2018. See this link.
At East Falls Church Metro, the Bike and Ride facility looks close to completion, see the photos below of EFC bike room. The “2019” in the sign is a sticker with same color as the rest of the text. The one at Vienna metro doesn’t have that sticker.

ParticipantI am expanding this to include East Falls Church. You may make your predictions for either or both. Same rules and prizes apply for both facilities.

Hey Peoples,
Sort of like a baby pool, where people guess the actual arrival date of a baby, I hereby announce the Vienna Bike and Ride, Predict-the-Date office pool. Winner gets a beverage of their choice at happy hour or coffee club on me.
Rules:
– Predict the date the Vienna Bike and Ride officially opens for business to the general public. One date per person.
– Closest date wins. In the case of a tie, both players win.
– PM or email or text me your date. If you post your date here, keep in mind that others can game the system by selecting a nearby date.
– To reduce gaming, you may not select a date that is within 14 days of a date that has been posted here, because someone did not read the previous bullet. If the actual date occurs during Freezing Saddles 2020 or 2021 or beyond, there may also be a Pointless Prize.

They restarted work a couple of months ago. Maybe it will open this spring?
That port-a-potty to the right is pretty expensive to maintain. If it’s gone, then the work is discontinued, so I think you are right on the mark!

Predict a date. Win a drink.

Hmm. I will have to actually look around when I am at the Metro station this afternoon (since it is going to snow tomorrow, today was my “run to work” day – via the metro). Once I actually see it, I will make a prediction.
