I just heard from their online communications person on Sunday–they sound like they are ready to rock!

Cool! Really close to my place. I’ll have to swing by and check them out.

EDIT: Are they actually open yet?

I saw something promising in the front window of Green Lizard. A bike with FENDERS! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Wow. Cool! I can only hope they have more bells/fenders/racks/bags/lights than shoes and carbohydrate goo.

They also are supposed to be a coffee shop, too. Can’t wait.

Yes. Bikes, Coffee, convenient to a major cycling route. What’s not to like? HPC Coaching (Susan Hefler) with a new & larger CompuTrainer studio is also moving here from her current address (across Station St – the pink building next to Great Harvest Bread).

Does anyone know when they officially open? I haven’t been able to find a website for them or anything (aside from a few articles on the Herndon Patch). I was thinking of swinging by on the way home and checking the place out.

    Uninformative website is here: http://www.greenlizardcycling.com/

The internet claims it was to have a grand opening March 1.

Just called- They are hoping to open this weekend.

I stopped by yesterday and they were open, though obviously only partly set up.
