And Rod is still six points ahead of me as of yesterday’s rides.

Where were you during Freezing Saddles?!?? You let him beat you by more than 2000 points then.

Really, really bad roads. Besides, I had told Sunyata I would be lucky to get 700 miles in during Freezing Saddles and I came up with close to 1200. :p

“…Cracker All Stars” haha. That’s gotta be Hugh Strickland’s creation. Long time NBC participant who rides a lot. He’s a sarcastic SOB, he did ride for GCC in the NBC last year but I don’t think he’s a member of the club. Looks like they’re building from scratch without official affiliation with the Gainesville Cycling Club.

anyone else have an issue with defaulting your rides to transportation vs recreation?

Changing defaults never worked for me in years past… but this year, if you are using strava at least, if you tag the strava ride as a commute it goes to nbc as a transport ride. Otherwise it goes through as recreational. *better than nothing optimism?*

Thanks for the tip. I just tagged my commute rides from yesterday as commute rides. Hopefully that will start changing my profile towards the Transportation direction.

I’d like my points to count towards the betterment of infrastructure for transportation riders – I’m afraid if its all logged as “recreation” people will think I’m just another “athlete” who just shares the road with cars all the time keep my average MPH up.

In Endomondo it goes to the last mode used. Funny thing is, when the options are transportation or sport. And when I ride for sport, it’s usually more like recreation. Must look funny that the sports rides are the slow ones…

I wonder what the good people at Cottonelle consider a year’s supply of toilet paper. Would it be enough for me to build a fort out of toilet paper? If so, I hope I win it in June.

I won it a couple years ago. We’re still going through it.

I’m collecting all my ride info in a spreadsheet, and will upload it all at once in a few days.

Dunno who else it affects, but just a reminder to check every once in a while:
I had to log out and log back in to the NBC site just now to get the last few days of rides to sync.
