ParticipantI’ll end about 200 pts short of 5000. Schedule just didn’t have the time where I could get the rides/miles the last couple weeks

ParticipantReached 10,000 on Saturdays ride with 10,000ft of climbing for the occasion, plus eight dirt roads. On the work bike with 35c cross tires.
Sunday Tour de Ports put me 25 points out of first place State of Maryland. I think it would be nice to have All-Stars on top of all the local leaderboards, don’t you?

ParticipantHaha. Man I’m feeling it. Really slow crawl home yesterday. Thankful for Eric Williams to join me for the ride to Baltimore, and the nice group that I latched onto for the event. Next weekend I’m going to take it easy.

ParticipantWell, I’ve been letting down the side since getting to Kyiv, missed riding several days. I’ll try to finish strong on Tuesday and Wednesday.

ParticipantAs of a few minutes ago, we continue to have a fairly narrow lead over our friends in Gainesville.
The All Stars have 1,144,423 points compared to Gainesville’s 1,085,926 points.Looking at the team member stats, of Gainesville’s team has 370 members with any points (78% of the 474 members) compared to the All Stars 320 members with points (87% of 366 members).
Gainesville has 78 Diamond level members (16% of the team) compared to the All Stars 72 Diamond level members (20% of the team).
Gainesville has 177 Platinum level members (37% of the team) compared to the All Stars 220 Platinum level members (60% of the team).I hereby give you permission to blow off work tomorrow (and Wednesday) and ride out to Leesburg. Just think how tasty a Carolina Brothers sandwich would taste. Just remember to log your miles.
We continue to ride more consistently
Notice that we are closing the lead in the number of miles the All Stars have ridden.

ParticipantHow are things going? Is everyone logging their rides today?

ParticipantMan, I looked at my stats and blah, I did not ride enough this summer. I only had 300 miles more than I did during BAFS.
. Even being out of town for three weeks, it’s the summer.
Bright side, Washington Area All Stars looking awesome. Way to crush it.

ParticipantHad a feeling Gainesville was holding out on us and waiting until today to log miles. Lo and behold… But still, a valiant effort by WAAS–we’ll get them next year!

ParticipantWell, I suppose if they hadn’t sandbagged, they’d have just stayed out front the entire competition, so in the end the outcome seems the same either way.

It was delayed putting in new riders, not logging rides. They added 17 riders since earlier today.
I have three days of rides to add this week. I don’t think that will be enough.September 30, 2015 at 11:21 pm #1038747Kitty
ParticipantRemember everyone! Anything can happen between now at 12:59pm!
On a personal spin (ha!), I couldn’t be happier with this year’s NBC. I managed to finish up the year with 2,300 miles-even!
Each year my goal has been to do a little better. Two years ago it was to just hit Gold, last year was to hit Platinum and 1,000 miles–and I ended up getting a little over 1,300. This year I set out to do a bit better and shot for 1,500.
In the end I got nearly 1,000 more miles than last year, snagged Diamond (first time!), and most surprising to me, rode 147/153 days! 😎
Thank you for all of the great opportunities to ride (those happy hours add up!), companionship, and motivation! This summer has been a blast!
(And tomorrow my bike goes into maintenance mode…)
