And we’re up to 191 riders.

Up to 192 now – just signed up for this year. Nice to have the integrated Strava logging!

I’m seeing the team and some other local teams listed as having zero riders now.

My recollection is that riders aren’t shown until they have at least one ride. So since all rides before May 1 weren’t counted, it may show 0 riders for now.

For those of us who were spoiled by hozn’s freezing saddles site, you have to be patient with the national bike challenge. It takes a while to update miles. It is best to wait until the end of the day to see how we are doing. Log, and synch when you can, but don’t expect them to show up right a way (or within a few hours).

Any idea if the Strava logging works? From what I read on the NBC website yesterday, its been buggy.

I worked for me a few weeks ago pretty consistently, but then I moved back to MMR for reasons I can’t remember. MMR was such a wreck last year I ended up logging things manually, but it seems pretty glitch-free over the last month of me playing with the NBC site.

You can use the fitnesssyncer.com site to automatically sync strava to MMR if Strava starts acting up too often. I sync the opposite way since MMR wont accept detailed GPS data from Strava, but for the sake of the challenge that shouldn’t be an issue since you just need miles and days.

Just joined the team. I think (didn’t see the # go up).

It doesn’t seem to be working for me at this point. No time now to fool around with it.

I manually synced it from my NBC profile (worked fine, just not automagically).

I did the same last night and it works fine, so far.

That’s consistent with what I read, thanks. Its a a bit of a pain, but I’ll live.

Well, I’m shown at #209 so today’s first ride of the challenge has been counted. We’re 26 points behind Gainesville.

For one brief moment I was in 2nd place locally
