More forum members among the winners – Steve Offutt (bike shorts – gold!)
Note that the bike shorts are not actually gold; they are lycra. I just got them last week.
Good luck to everyone else. I hope we all win!!!

That was last month’s shorts. This month’s shorts might be gold.

WooHoo!!! I just got an email about this. I hadn’t realized I won before now. My life is now complete…

WAIT!! Are you f*&$#king kidding me? I am just realizing this moment that I won again. D’oh! I thought this was all referring to the shorts I won last month.
Man, I must be livin’ right!

ParticipantAnyone having sync problems with endomondo? My miles are on there but not syncing to the NBC. 120 miles for the week and I’m getting credit for 1 mile for 1 day.

Or it could mean that the bribes are working… LOL
From their Facebook page today:
“This is the last month of the National Bike Challenge and here is what we’re giving away to one lucky Platinum/Diamond level rider:
A Four Day North American Ride Camp Trip valued at $899 from Trek Travel (http://trektravel.com/).
Get on your bike and log those miles so that you are eligible!“

Good thing I’ve already reached the Platinum level, because I think I may have to shut it down for the rest of the contest. I squeaked through this weekend’s triathlon on shaky legs. If I want to be smart, I may have to avoid cycling for a couple weeks or so, until I’m fully healed. After riding every day in May and June, I’ve barely ridden at all over the past 3 or 4 weeks. Not by choice, but because my legs keep telling me I can’t ride. (“Shut Up Legs” isn’t working.)September 9, 2014 at 9:54 am #1009399ShawnoftheDread

You have to say it with a German accent.

Miles ridden in your sleep don’t count. In real life however, I discovered that it had severely under-calculated my miles too. until I added them up. Sometimes I think I ride a lot of miles. then I check back in with reality. (I am in no way suggesting you only rode 1 mile, Ebubar. I just wanted to recount my own recount woes.)

ParticipantEndo was syncing pretty well for me but a few glitches recently. I’ve decided to manually log my miles directly to the NBC site for the duration of the challenge period.

Of course, if they don’t actually send me the shorts, have I really won anything? I’m going to have to follow up on this tomorrow. I responded to their email and verified address info, but nothing has been delivered to my door.
