once I get the kinks sorted out
I was never able to get the kinks sorted out using fitnesssyncer. I regularly use strava, and I was getting 5 or 6 duplicates of each ride on MMR using fitnessyncer. So now i just upload to endomondo once at the end of the month and let that sync with NBC, but I have all my rides on a garmin, so it makes that a bit easier.

I think you’re going to have an issue if MMR is syncing to Strava and Strava is syncing to MMR. The problem is that the program does not check for duplicates. So the rides synced from MMR to Strava will then get synced back to MMR, causing duplicates of each ride.
I am doing fine with the program just having it sync from Strava to MMR, so that all rides will count for the NBC. But if you have it syncing both ways, you may need to check and delete any duplicates that are created.
It allows for filters by date–so I did a filter for MMR to Strava that said only workouts before the date I began strava, and Strava to MMR was everything after the date I stopped using MMR. It’s actually kinda neat how they set that up…And it worked exactly as expected so no duplicates.

ParticipantSo, why do we still have no prize announcement for June? I’m waiting with bated breath to see whether I got the toilet paper this month!

ParticipantNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I’m still recovering from the trauma of using British toilet paper for a couple of years of my life. Things have apparently changed now to the point that British consumers are more demanding than other nations about their toilet paper. But at the time (1967-8 and 1972-3), public restrooms in Britain offered what my grandmother referred to as “wax paper, brown paper, or sandpaper.” None of the three was exactly famous for comfort or absorbency.

And I had finally been able to get over the trauma of that, thanks for the reminder.

ParticipantSpeak for yourselves. I assume the paper in question is akin to the greyish TP I used to use in Ukraine, which I actually liked a lot and miss sometimes. I’d gladly take a year’s supply of that.

If I PM my address, will you ship a year’s supply of Ukr. paper to me?

ParticipantI just got an email from NBC that I at first thought was indicating I had won a pair of socks (Yay me!). But as I read further down I discovered this was just a come-on, and for the low, low price of $20.14 I could PURCHASE a pair of NBC socks (shipping included!). &%#! that!

ParticipantNot having experienced Ukrainian toilet paper, I have no idea how similar they were. However, the issue with British toilet paper at the time was not its color. It was the fact it was totally unsuited to the purpose for which it was intended. To begin with, all three varieties were nonabsorbent. Each was also painful in its own way. The brown paper variety was like parcel paper. If you tried to fold it so that you could at least scoop things off, it created a hard point that stuck into you. The wax paper was a little (but not much) softer, but only at the cost of further diminishing the already nearly nonexistent absorbency. And the sandpaper was abrasive as well as nonabsorbent.
If you are actually missing toilet paper that is similar to any of these, I can only say that while I would never criticize any kink you may be enjoying, with or without a partner of your choice, you will have to excuse the rest of us for safewording!
