ParticipantWhat’s the point of riding my bike if I can’t even win some Sierra Nevada lip balm?! I mean seriously! I’m gonna start taking the train again tomorrow.

I’m single-parenting the first two weeks of June and will be out of town for part of that period so my contribution to the team will be greatly diminished until the 16th.

Bummer… I’ll try my best to pick up your slack.
My birthday’s Friday, and I’m taking the day off. Likely plan for the day – a metric century (plus?), which is equal to about 4 days commuting mileage for me.

Since when is single parenting an excuse for reduced mileage? Speaking for those of us for whom it is a permanent state, I would argue that your bicycle is the perfect form of transportation – reliable, economical, and you get door-to-door service. Perhaps you need a trailer?

We slipped to 3rd for the month of June. We are still in 2nd for May/June. Oops, were you trying to motivate us?

ParticipantYeah, because 1,010.7 miles in May alone is just nothing!

Is that all they gave me credit for? I logged 1010 miles and 29 days on Endomondo. I wonder where the sync went wrong.

ParticipantSorry, misclicked and picked up the wrong number. Fixed it now.

ParticipantDoes anyone here know Andrea Matney? I noticed some of my Facebook friends like Toole Design Group’s Facebook page. Can we get their DC area members on our team? I’m riding so slow now, I can’t recruit riders on the commute. They just blow by me. I did bring in the top rider in Maryland (before Andrea Matney moved ahead of him) and the top rider in DC, among others.
I rode about 600 miles less in May 2014 than I did in May 2013. Sorry.
I’m logging the top DC rider’s miles for him because thats the only way he would agreed to participate. I’m willing to do the same for hozn.
I’ll give a roll of toilet paper to every All-Star who logs a ride of over 200 miles next weekend.

Ha!…My birthday is Friday, too! My plan though, is a little different. I plan to eat a lot of cherry pie from momsapplepieco.com
