There are several low areas that will probably have standing water when you are heading South:
1- Right before the Memorial Bridge
2- After the second overpass by National Airport
Not sure what you will find below Alexandria.

There are infact couple for spots where you cross the swamp over wooden bridges are pretty low lying (atleast that’s the feel i get when biking over them) and they could be flooded too.

Also, towards the end of the trail, there is a wooded section which could have some fallen trees.

have you thought of W&OD? It could be a better alternative. But I am not sure on the current conditions though.

W&OD was certainly doable as of Friday. Some damage definitely, but only had to dismount the bike once.

Great ride this morning. Just Crystal City to Mt Vernon and back.

One spot of brush on southbound side of trail around MP 3, one or two puddles, but nothing requiring dismount anywhere. Wet leaves, slick wooden bridges as normal in shady areas.

    Enjoy the ride!
